SCARC Foundation, Inc.
The SCARC Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 1985 to provide planning and funding for current and future programs for people with developmental disabilities who are currently served by SCARC, Inc. (formerly the Sussex County Association for Retarded Citizens) and SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc.  The SCARC Foundation, Inc. (a separate entity from SCARC, Inc. and SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc.) has a Board of Trustees comprised of influential business and community leaders who are committed to the necessity of providing a firm financial future for our organization.  For further information regarding the SCARC Foundation, Inc., please contact(973) 383-7442  ext. 261.

SCARC, Inc.
SCARC, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 1957 by a group of parents determined to develop a comprehensive program of service and education for their children who had mental retardation.  SCARC's programs have grown to include an extensive network of 17 community-based residential homes, a supported employment program, year-around recreation programs, summer day camp for children and adults, family support programs and respite programs.  For further information regarding the programs and services for people with developmental disabilities served by SCARC, Inc., please contact Richard C. SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc.
SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 1989 in response to requests from parents to provide guardianship services to people with developmental disabilities.  In 1997, they responded again to community needs and reorganized as a Community Trust, thus enabling the organization to expand its services.  For further information regarding the programs and services for people with developmental disabilities served by SCARC Guardianship Services, Inc., please contact Linda S.
